Temporary | Banquet Server

Three Leaf Catering, part of the University of Notre Dame’s Operations, Events, and Safety (UOES) division, is hiring on-call/temporary Banquet Servers for campus hospitality events.

About the role

Banquet Servers assist with set-up, service, and tear-down of banquet events at Three Leaf Catering and The Morris Inn. They serve food, pour beverages, and respond to guest requests following University service standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare table service for functions as directed by the Banquet Captain or Lead Banquet Server
• Follow written specifications provided by the events department
• Participate in equipment removal following meal service
• Professionally serve banquet functions: serving food, pouring beverages, and handling special requests of guests
• Adhere to established guidelines for the safe handling of food
• Maintain a clean work area and equipment in good working condition

Requirements

• Must be available to work football Saturdays and all major campus events
• Ability to manage time effectively with minimal supervision
• Excellent communication and listening skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 6 hours at a time)
• Follow food safety procedures for handling, storing, and serving food products

Pay

$17.50 per hour plus gratuity.
