About the role
The University of Notre Dame Operations, Events, and Safety (UOES) division is hiring on-call/temporary Banquet Servers at Three Leaf Catering and The Morris Inn within the campus Hospitality department. UOES oversees event management, hospitality, and customer service functions, supporting student life, academic initiatives, research activities, and annual milestone celebrations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare table service for functions as directed by the Banquet Captain or Lead Banquet Server
- Follow written specifications provided by the events department
- Participate in equipment removal following meal service
- Professionally serve banquet functions, including serving food, pouring beverages, and handling guest requests
- Adhere to established guidelines for the safe handling of food
- Maintain a clean work area and ensure equipment is in good working condition
Requirements
- Must be available to work football Saturdays and all major campus events
- Ability to manage time effectively with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Capable of standing for extended periods (up to 6 hours at a time)
- Follow food safety procedures for handling, storing, and serving food products
Pay
$17.50 per hour plus gratuity.
