Temporary | Banquet Server (Three Leaf Catering & The Morris Inn)

About the role

The University of Notre Dame Operations, Events, and Safety (UOES) division is currently hiring for on-call/temporary Banquet Servers at Three Leaf Catering and The Morris Inn in our campus Hospitality department.

Responsibilities

• Prepare table service for functions as per direction of the Banquet Captain or Lead Banquet Server
• Follow written specifications provided by the events department
• Participate in equipment removal following meal service
• Professionally serve banquet functions; serving food, pouring beverages, and handling special requests of guests
• Follow established guidelines for the safe handling of food
• Keep the work area and equipment clean and in good working condition

Requirements

• MUST be available to work football Saturdays and all major campus events
• Capable of managing time effectively with minimal supervision
• Excellent communication and listening skills
• Able to maintain a standing position for extended periods of time (up to 6 hours at a time)
• Follow food safety procedures for handling, storing, and serving food products
