Workplace Manager
About the role
Crusoe is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Workplace Manager to lead operations for our growing San Francisco office. In this highly visible, hands-on role, you will partner closely with the Regional Workplace Manager and cross-functional teams to oversee daily office operations, support expansion efforts, and deliver an exceptional workplace experience for a rapidly scaling employee population.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily workplace operations for the San Francisco office, ensuring smooth functionality, high service standards, and a consistently positive employee experience as the site scales.
- Partner closely with People, IT, Security, Finance, and other business leaders to support onboarding, headcount planning, workplace technology, and operational alignment across the San Francisco site.
- Lead relationships with landlords, building management, and third-party vendors. Oversee janitorial, food and beverage, facilities, and event vendors to ensure performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Manage and oversee Workplace Coordinators supporting the San Francisco office. Provide guidance and ensure consistent execution of workplace programs, vendor coordination, and employee experience initiatives across the site.
- Support office expansions and space planning.
- Manage the San Francisco workplace budget and identify opportunities to optimize operational costs while maintaining high standards.
- Oversee the end-to-end visitor experience by managing front-of-house operations, visitor management platform, and cross-functional coordination to ensure a seamless, secure, and professional arrival-to-departure journey aligned with organizational standards and brand.
- Plan and execute San Francisco-based employee events and workplace programs aligned with company-wide strategies and focused on team connection and engagement.
- Manage food and beverage programming for the San Francisco office, including daily meals and snack programs, with ownership of budgets and vendors.
- Design and implement scalable workplace policies, documentation, and operational workflows.
- Act as the primary point of contact for building-related issues and emergencies, including after-hours response when needed.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in workplace, facilities, or office operations roles within fast-paced, growth-oriented organizations.
- Demonstrated experience owning day-to-day office operations and supporting office growth or expansion initiatives.
- Strong vendor management and facilities oversight experience.
- Experience managing budgets and identifying opportunities for operational efficiency.
- Pioneering ability to collaborate cross-functionally with People, IT, Security, and Finance teams.
- Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented with strong ownership and follow-through.
- Comfortable operating autonomously and making sound decisions in a dynamic environment.
- Proven ability to lead and develop teams.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Facility Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in managing large-scale office operations and facilities.
- Knowledge of workplace policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with workplace management software.

Pay
Compensation will be paid in the range of up to $130,000 -$160,000 + Bonus. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicants knowledge, education, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
Schedule
This is a full-time, in-office role based in San Francisco, requiring five days per week on-site.
