About the role
Seeking compassionate Support Professionals to assist residents in a trauma-informed recovery program for adult women with substance use disorders, including mothers with infants.
Responsibilities
- Supporting residents' recovery and well-being
- Monitoring and documenting resident progress
- Administering medications and responding to emergencies
- Assisting with daily tasks such as meals, housekeeping, and laundry
- Transporting residents to appointments and activities
- Collecting urine samples and administering breathalyzer tests
- Facilitating educational and life skills activities
- Maintaining confidentiality and accurate documentation
- Attending staff meetings and trainings
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience in human services, behavioral health, or residential care preferred
- Coursework in social work, psychology, or related fields is advantageous
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and maintain professional boundaries
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record
- DHS 83 training preferred but can be completed after hire
Pay
$17.75/hour
Schedule
2nd shift, including every other weekend; local travel up to 50% required.
