About the role
This position involves supporting adult women recovering from substance use disorders in a trauma-informed residential treatment program. Support Professionals provide daily assistance, encouragement, and structure to help residents build healthy, sober lives.
Responsibilities
- Monitor resident well-being and document observations
- Administer or oversee medications
- Assist with daily tasks such as meal prep, housekeeping, and laundry
- Respond to emergencies and support treatment goals
- Transport residents and collect specimens
- Facilitate educational activities
- Attend staff trainings
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Experience in human services or behavioral health preferred
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and maintain professional boundaries
- Valid driver’s license
- DHS 83 training preferred (can be completed after hire)
Additional Details
The role involves local travel (up to 50%) and requires a compassionate, respectful approach to resident care. Participation in staff meetings and training is required.
