About the role
Seeking compassionate professionals to support residents in a trauma-informed residential treatment program for adult women recovering from substance use disorders. This role involves providing daily support, encouragement, and structure in a safe environment, helping residents achieve recovery and treatment goals.
Responsibilities
- Supporting residents' recovery journeys and monitoring their well-being
- Documenting observations while maintaining confidentiality
- Administering or monitoring medications as per policies
- Assisting with meals, housekeeping, laundry, and daily tasks
- Responding to emergencies or crises appropriately
- Transporting residents to appointments and community activities
- Collecting urine samples and administering breathalyzer tests
- Facilitating educational and life skills activities
- Attending staff meetings and training sessions
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Experience in human services, behavioral health, or residential care preferred
- Coursework in social work, psychology, or related fields is a plus
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and maintain professional boundaries
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Training in fire safety, first aid, and medication administration is preferred but can be completed after hire
Additional duties may include local travel within the community.
Pay
$17.75/hour
