About the role
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) providing home care services primarily on weekends.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including personal hygiene, mobility assistance, and basic nursing tasks as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Prepare meals considering client preferences and dietary needs.
- Offer companionship and engage in activities tailored to individual interests.
- Perform light housekeeping duties and ensure accurate documentation of care activities.
- Monitor and report changes in clients' physical or psychosocial conditions.
- Utilize EVV technology to document tasks and adhere to care plans.
- Ensure patient confidentiality, respect privacy, and follow the established Plan of Care.
- Respond promptly to concerns, questions, or safety issues, including suspected abuse or neglect.
Qualifications
- Current certification with DFS.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Effective communication skills; ability to read, write, and follow instructions.
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting (up to 50 lbs.), bending, and standing.
- Compassionate attitude toward patient care and a flexible approach to varying client environments.
