Weekend CNA

About the role

Seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) for home care services on weekends, with responsibilities focused on providing direct patient care in clients’ homes.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal hygiene, daily living activities, transfers, repositioning, and ambulation
• Administer basic nursing care and prescribed exercises under supervision
• Prepare meals tailored to client preferences and dietary needs
• Provide companionship and engage clients in activities based on their interests
• Perform light housekeeping duties and maintain accurate records
• Monitor and report changes in clients’ physical or psychosocial conditions
• Follow the care plan strictly, including documentation via EVV app or time sheet
• Uphold patient confidentiality, privacy, and rights, and report any abuse or safety concerns immediately

Qualifications

• Current certification with DFS
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Effective communication skills, including reading, writing, and following instructions
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing
• Compassionate attitude toward patient care

Skills & Equipment

• Ability to use standard medical equipment like blood pressure cuffs and stethoscopes
• Transportation for client visits
