About the role
Seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for home care services on weekends.
Responsibilities
- Providing personal hygiene care, including bathing, grooming, and oral care.
- Assisting with transfers, repositioning, and ambulation.
- Administering basic nursing care and prescribed exercises under supervision.
- Preparing meals tailored to client preferences and dietary needs.
- Offering companionship and engaging clients in activities based on their interests.
- Performing light housekeeping duties as needed.
- Maintaining accurate records, reporting changes in client condition, and completing EVV tasks.
- Upholding patient confidentiality, privacy, and respecting clients' rights.
- Following the care plan strictly, without administering medications.
Qualifications
- Current certification with DFS.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Effective communication skills, including reading, writing, and following directions.
- Physical ability to lift approximately 50 lbs, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- Sympathetic attitude toward patient care and a commitment to high-quality service.
Additional duties
- Use of equipment such as blood pressure cuffs and stethoscopes as per care plan.
- Travel within the designated area to provide services at clients' residences.
- Participate as a team member to ensure effective healthcare delivery.
