About the Role
The Vice President, Professional Services is responsible for leading Kinaxis’ North America Professional Services team and ensuring successful delivery of complex enterprise software implementations and outcomes for our customers. This senior leadership role drives customer value realization, delivery excellence, operational performance, and organizational capability across a portfolio of strategic customer engagements. The VP partners closely with Sales, Customer Success, Product, Support, and strategic partners to ensure customers achieve measurable business value while scaling and evolving the services organization.
This is a remote position open to candidates located anywhere in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing North America Professional Services organization, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and customer focus.
- Oversee the successful delivery of enterprise software implementations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Serve as an executive sponsor for strategic customer relationships, helping navigate complex challenges and ensuring successful business outcomes.
- Drive operational excellence and scale delivery with strong financial and operational discipline, including resource planning, utilization, project profitability, forecasting, and performance metrics.
- Proactively identify and manage operational risks, resource constraints, and delivery challenges with executive intervention as needed.
- Partner closely with Product, Sales, Customer Success, Support, Finance, HR, and other stakeholders to deliver an integrated customer experience.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic partners to ensure successful execution across Kinaxis-led, partner-led, and joint delivery engagements.
- Champion adoption of new technologies, including AI-enabled delivery capabilities, to improve efficiency and customer outcomes.
- Shape the future of Professional Services through innovation, continuous improvement, and scalable delivery models.
- Travel as needed to support project engagements, executive customer interactions, partner alignment, and internal leadership activities.
Requirements
- 15+ years of progressive experience in Professional Services, Consulting, Enterprise Software, or SaaS organizations, including 10+ years leading delivery teams and leaders.
- Proven track record of supporting and scaling a $50M+ Professional Services portfolio.
- Strong commercial and operational acumen, including experience with revenue, utilization, forecasting, resource planning, margin management, and delivery performance.
- Experience working with strategic system integrators, subcontractor partners, and broader delivery ecosystems.
- Deep understanding of enterprise software implementation methodologies and customer delivery best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to lead through change, ambiguity, growth, and evolving customer expectations while maintaining team engagement and delivery discipline.
- Exceptional executive communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building capabilities.
- Extensive knowledge of the supply chain industry, market conditions, customer transformation needs, and competitive dynamics.
- Experience leveraging AI, automation, or scalable delivery models to improve services effectiveness is preferred.
- Willingness to travel as needed for project engagements, customer interactions, partner alignment, and internal leadership activities.
