About the role

VCA Loomis Basin Veterinary Clinic is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician to join their Specialty Surgery team. Located at 3901 Sierra College Blvd, Loomis, CA 95650, the clinic offers competitive compensation ranging from $28 to $38 per hour based on experience, education, and credentials.

Responsibilities

• Assist with surgical procedures under the supervision of veterinarians
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses
• Perform diagnostic tests and record results accurately
• Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient care

Requirements

• Current RVT license in California or a transferrable CrVT license from another state
• Experience in emergency, intensive care, and critical care units
• Proven skills in a specialty hybrid veterinary hospital setting
