Used Vehicle Buyer

Responsibilities

• Acquire used-car inventory through direct contacts, generated leads, off-site auctions, dealers, internet inquiries from customers or any other available avenues.
• Appraise vehicles, understand vehicle condition, negotiate price, make financially sound purchasing decisions, and ensure timely processing of all purchases.
• Understand retail trends and participate in the inventory planning process.
• Deliver a premium customer experience by responding to customer inquiries in a prompt, professional, accurate, and courteous manner.
• Generate leads and create appointments by researching the available used car market.
• Maintain car buying quotas.
• Understand market tendencies and changes to trends in all geographic areas.
• Develop effective working relationships with all purchasing venues to accelerate the placement of ideal inventory in an expeditious and cost-effective manner.
• Effectively utilize lead management tools.
• Compile all necessary reports, forms, and other documentation on a timely basis.

Pay

The expected Salary pay range for this position is $70,304 to $125,000 annually. Actual pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and location. Final compensation will be established through the interview process in accordance with applicable pay equity and transparency laws.
