Position Summary

Drives sales by ensuring effective merchandise presentation, leading and developing teams, controlling unexplained loss of merchandise, and improving profitability.

What you'll do...

  • Ensures accurate and competitive pricing, proper inventory levels, cleanliness, and assesses economic trends and community needs.
  • Oversees stocking and rotating merchandise, setting up displays, and securing fragile and high-shrinkage merchandise.
  • Leads and develops teams by teaching, training, actively listening, touring stores, providing feedback, and implementing business solutions.
  • Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards, manages and supports customer service initiatives, and ensures customer needs, complaints, and issues are resolved.
  • Controls unexplained loss of merchandise, measures adherence to loss prevention policies, and communicates performance goals and objectives.
  • Trains managers and associates on operational controls and processes, conducts operational and pre-inventory reviews, and coordinates job-related activities.
  • Manages facility-level training and execution of asset protection, safety, and claims and receiving procedures, and ensures compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Monitors safety and risk controls, identifies accident trends, and provides training on accident prevention techniques.
  • Provides direction for claims or receiving issues, maintains necessary documentation and reporting, and ensures timely processing of claims and merchandise deliveries.
  • Supports plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs, identifies and addresses improvement opportunities, and demonstrates adaptability and promotes continuous learning.
  • Respects individuals, builds high-performing teams, and fosters a culture of belonging by recognizing others' contributions and accomplishments.

Pay

The annual salary range for this position is $65,000.00 - $100,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses, and regional pay zone (RPZ) and complex structure differentials, where applicable.

Qualifications

  • Completion of 2 years of college.
  • 1 year’s experience as a supervisor in a multi-department environment.
  • 1 year’s experience in one of the following areas: accounting, claims, inventory control, systems/UPC, personnel, or loss prevention/asset protection in a multi-department environment.
  • 2 years’ experience in asset protection or related area.
  • Successful completion of any applicable state requirements to work in asset protection (for example, minimum age, specialized training, certification and/or licensing).
  • If applicable, acquisition of a current, state issued Certificate of Eligibility.
  • Successful completion of criminal background check and/or firearms authorized training.
