Position Summary

Drives sales by ensuring effective merchandise presentation, leads and develops teams, manages and supports customer service initiatives, and ensures compliance with policies and procedures.

What you'll do...

  • Ensures accurate and competitive pricing, proper inventory levels, cleanliness, and assesses economic trends and community needs.
  • Oversees the stocking and rotation of merchandise, sets up displays, secures fragile and high-shrinkage merchandise, and tours stores to provide feedback.
  • Trains and develops teams by hiring, training, and mentoring associates, setting clear expectations, providing associate recognition, and communicating business objectives.
  • Manages and supports customer service initiatives such as store of the community and community outreach programs, ensuring customer needs, complaints, and issues are resolved.
  • Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards by following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model, managing and supporting customer service initiatives, and providing process improvement leadership.
  • Controls unexplained loss of merchandise, improves profitability, identifies performance goals and objectives, measures adherence to loss prevention policies, and communicates and works with managers and associates to determine corrections needed.
  • Manages facility-level training and execution of asset protection, safety, and claims and receiving procedures, identifies gaps in expectations versus training, develops and delivers training as needed, and manages claims and receiving operations.
  • Monitors safety and risk controls, ensures an effective safety program is in place, identifies accident trends, provides training on accident prevention techniques, communicates plans to minimize accidents, conducts investigations, and ensures compliance with company policies and procedures.

Pay

The annual salary range for this position is $65,000.00 - $100,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) and Complex Structure.

Qualifications

  • Completion of 2 years of college.
  • 1 year’s experience as a supervisor in a multi-department environment.
  • 1 year’s experience in one of the following areas: accounting, claims, inventory control, systems/UPC, personnel, or loss prevention/asset protection in a multi department environment.
  • 2 years’ experience in asset protection or related area.
  • Successful completion of any applicable state requirements to work in asset protection (for example, minimum age, specialized training, certification and/or licensing).
  • If applicable, acquisition of a current, state issued Certificate of Eligibility.
  • Successful completion of criminal background check and/or firearms authorized training.
