Position Summary
Drives sales by ensuring effective merchandise presentation, leading and developing teams, controlling unexplained loss of merchandise, and improving profitability.
What you'll do...
- Ensures accurate and competitive pricing, proper inventory levels, cleanliness, and assesses economic trends and community needs.
- Oversees the stocking and rotation of merchandise, sets up displays, cleans, organizes, secures fragile and high-shrinkage merchandise.
- Leads and develops teams by teaching, training, actively listening, touring stores, providing feedback, and communicating business objectives.
- Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards, manages and supports customer service initiatives, and ensures customer needs are resolved.
- Hires, trains, mentors, assigns duties, sets clear expectations, provides associate recognition, and communicates expectations consistently.
- Controls unexplained loss of merchandise, measures adherence to loss prevention policies, identifies and communicates performance goals, and implements business solutions.
- Trains managers and associates on operational controls and processes, conducts investigations, and communicates plans to minimize accidents.
- Manages facility-level training and execution of asset protection, safety, and claims and receiving procedures, and ensures compliance with company policies.
- Monitors safety and risk controls, observes workplace practices, provides training on accident prevention, and communicates plans to improve workplace safety.
- Manages claims and receiving operations, ensures proper policies and procedures are followed, and coordinates job-related activities.

Pay
The annual salary range for this position is $65,000.00 - $100,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses, and regional pay zone and complex structure differentials as applicable.

Qualifications
- Completion of 2 years of college or 1 year’s experience as a supervisor in a multi-department environment.
- 1 year’s experience in one of the following areas: accounting, claims, inventory control, systems/UPC, personnel, or loss prevention/asset protection in a multi-department environment.
- 2 years’ experience in asset protection or related area.
- Successful completion of any applicable state requirements to work in asset protection (minimum age, specialized training, certification and/or licensing).
- If applicable, acquisition of a current, state-issued Certificate of Eligibility.
- Successful completion of criminal background check and/or firearms authorized training.
