US NatSec BD/Capture Manager - Intelligence Community, US NatSec Federal Strategic Pursuits

About the role

The US NatSec BD/Capture Manager for AWS focuses on the National Security market segment, helping to shape and deliver strategies to build mind share and broad use of Amazon's utility computing web services.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a multi-year pipeline of cloud-related opportunities
• Oversee implementation of bid strategies, proposal approaches, and technical solutions
• Drive business growth and best practices with NatSec Sales teams
• Engage and communicate effectively in technical and business discussions with internal AWS colleagues, APN partners, and end customers
• Support account managers and solution architects in developing innovative cloud-based solutions, proposal win themes, and technical differentiators
• Manage the full life cycle of capture management to capture contracts valued in excess of $50M
• Identify bid opportunities through direct interactions with customers and industry forums
• Respond to RFx opportunities as a key member of the AWS Public Sector team
• Comply with government acquisition guidelines and RFx requirements

Requirements

• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above
• 6+ years of Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting experience
• 5+ years of working with Core Cloud Technology Services, including Compute, Edge, Hybrid, Security, and Networking experience
• 5+ years of working with Data & AI related technologies, including AI/ML, GenAI, Analytics, Database, and Storage experience
• 5+ years of program management, workforce strategy development, or metrics-driven decision making experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience influencing leadership decisions at the organizational level
• Experience leading complex, multi-year initiatives that may be cross-functional and/or span business and technology

Qualifications

• Master's degree in business, data science, public administration, finance, engineering, human resources, or related field, or PMP certificate
