About the role
The Ambulatory Registered Nurse (RN) provides high-quality, patient-centered care in a busy outpatient clinic setting. Collaborating with healthcare providers and the interdisciplinary care team, this role includes patient assessment, clinical interventions, triage, care coordination, patient education, and chronic disease management.
Responsibilities
- Delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in an outpatient clinic setting.
- Collaborates with healthcare providers and the interdisciplinary care team.
- Performs patient assessment, clinical interventions, triage, care coordination, patient education, and chronic disease management.
- Safeguards clinic operations through accurate documentation, effective communication, and adherence to evidence-based practice and regulatory standards.
- Supports flexible scheduling to assist other St. Peter's Health Medical Group clinics as needed.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited professional school of nursing.
- Sufficient care experience to demonstrate ability as an Ambulatory Staff RN (job specific).
- Previous experience in an ambulatory or outpatient setting preferred.
- Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Demonstrates maturity in judgment, organizational skills, and the ability to adapt to changing environments.
- Recognizes and assists where help is needed.
- Current Montana License as a Certified Registered Nurse.
- BLS certification required.
- Certification in Nursing Specialty, Ambulatory Care preferred.
