Triage RN, Primary Care
About the role
Primary Care at Pease is a full-service practice offering comprehensive care for individuals and families, with board-certified family medicine and internal medicine providers. Conveniently located at Pease Tradeport, the practice also offers on-site laboratory and imaging services. As a patient-centered medical home, Primary Care at Pease emphasizes coordinated, individualized care. Patients work with a consistent team of physicians and nurse practitioners they know and trust, along with additional specialized providers to support their unique healthcare needs.
We are seeking a full-time, 40-hour Registered Nurse to work onsite at the practice. The primary responsibility of this role will be phone triage, with occasional nurse visits as needed.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care and support, ensuring high nursing standards
- Conduct patient assessments, devise care plans, and assist in outpatient procedures with a focus on patient comfort and safety
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and post-procedure care
- Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care
- Administer medications, perform IV therapy, and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulations
- Uphold infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff
Qualifications
Education
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
Licenses and Credentials
- Registered Nurse (RN – State License) required
- Basic Life Support (BLS Certification) preferred
Experience
- Clinical nursing experience: 0–1 year required
- Ambulatory care or outpatient experience: 1–2 years preferred
Skills
- Phone Triage experience (strongly preferred)
- Primary Care experience (strongly preferred)
- EPIC experience (strongly preferred)
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (40 hours per week). Day shift. Onsite position.
Pay
Hourly range: $36.87 – $50.76. Base pay is determined by skills, relevant experience, education, certifications, and other factors. The range reflects minimum job qualifications and does not encompass all elements of total compensation, which may include differentials, premiums, bonuses, and recognition programs.
