Triage RN, Primary Care
About the role
Mass General Brigham in Rowley, MA provides primary care services specializing in internal medicine and family medicine. Located at 414 Haverhill Street, Rowley, MA 01969. This is a part-time, 20-hour per week Registered Nurse position working onsite with a mix of telephone triage and nurse visits as needed.
Schedule
- Monday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Wednesday: 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care and support, ensuring high nursing standards
- Conduct patient assessments, devise care plans, and assist in outpatient procedures with a focus on patient comfort and safety
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and post-procedure care
- Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care
- Administer medications, perform IV therapy, and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulations
- Uphold infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff
Qualifications
Education
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
- Experience cannot be substituted for degree requirement
Licenses and Credentials
- Registered Nurse (RN – State License) required
- Basic Life Support (BLS Certification) preferred
Experience
- Clinical nursing experience: 0–1 year required
- Ambulatory care or outpatient experience: 1–2 years preferred
Preferred qualifications
- Primary Care RN experience
- EPIC experience
- Phone triage experience
Pay
Hourly range: $38.71 – $55.23 (Grade MGRNMETRO2). Base pay is determined by skills, relevant experience, education, certifications, and other essential factors. The range reflects minimum qualifications and does not encompass all elements of total compensation.
