Travel Registered Nurse assignment in Dubuque, Iowa for a long-term care (LTC) setting.
About the role
This is a temporary travel assignment through Healthforce Healthcare LLC, starting 09/14/2026. The contract duration is weeks-long with guaranteed 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct, compassionate nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting, including medication administration, treatments, and routine assessments
- Monitor and document residents’ conditions, vital signs, and response to interventions; report changes promptly to the care team
- Develop and participate in resident-centered care plans in collaboration with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary staff
- Ensure accurate medication administration, charting, dosing verification, and adherence to regulatory standards and safety protocols
- Support residents with activities of daily living, fall prevention strategies, wound care, and infection control practices; respond to emergencies per organizational policy
- Maintain up-to-date documentation in the electronic health record and uphold privacy, dignity, and ethical standards in care delivery
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license to practice nursing
- Prior nursing experience in long-term care or geriatric settings preferred
- Ability to work any shift and commit to 40 hours per week
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team
- Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced travel assignment and comply with regulatory requirements
Pay
Weekly pay between $1,733 and $1,839.
Schedule
Guaranteed 40 hours per week. Shift: Any Shift.
