Travel Registered Nurse LTC Job
Overview
This travel assignment places you in a long-term care/geriatric setting, providing skilled nursing care to residents. Expect a steady 40-hour week with evening/night shifts as part of a rotating schedule.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care to residents in a long-term care setting, including assessment and ongoing monitoring
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments, and document outcomes accurately
- Observe and report changes in patient condition to the care team; respond promptly to clinical developments
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to coordinate care plans and communicate with families as appropriate
- Perform routine nursing procedures, wound care, and basic clinical tasks within scope of practice; ensure patient safety and infection control compliance
- Complete timely and accurate charting in accordance with regulatory requirements and facility policies
Requirements
- Active registered nurse license (state of practice) or eligibility for licensure in Pennsylvania; willingness to obtain or transfer as required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- 1 year of long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
- RN degree from an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN acceptable)
- Ability to work evening and night shifts; flexibility to support a travel assignment schedule
- Capacity to pass credentialing and onboarding requirements for a temporary assignment
