About the Role
This is a 12-week travel assignment for a Registered Nurse in a Long-Term Care (LTC) - Nursing Home setting in Moses Lake, Washington. The role focuses on providing care for residents in a dementia-focused unit.
Schedule
Evenings shift (2:00 PM–10:30 PM), 5 days a week, 8 hours per day (5x8). Guaranteed 40 hours per week.
Start date: 09/01/2026.
Pay
Weekly pay between $1,132 and $1,207.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct, compassionate nursing care to residents in a secured dementia/Alzheimer’s care unit.
- Administer medications and manage treatments according to physician orders and facility policies.
- Conduct comprehensive resident assessments and participate in care planning with an interdisciplinary team.
- Monitor resident safety, manage behavioral symptoms, and implement interventions to promote comfort and well-being.
- Document care, changes in condition, and response to treatments in the electronic medical record; communicate effectively with families and team members.
- Support care transitions, admissions, and discharges while ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality standards.
Requirements
- Availability for the evening shift (2:00 PM–10:30 PM) and ability to maintain a consistent 12-week assignment.
- Experience in long-term care or dementia care settings is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a secured dementia care unit and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.
- Strong clinical documentation, assessment, and communication skills.
