Travel Registered Nurse LTC Job

Travel Registered Nurse assignment in Elkins, West Virginia, starting 08/17/2026 for 9 weeks in a long-term care nursing home setting.

About the role

This is a night-shift travel assignment with a guaranteed 36 hours per week. The shift is three 12-hour nights (19:00–07:00) with a weekend rotation.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications and monitor residents for changes in condition
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and contribute to care planning in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Document care activities and progress notes accurately in the electronic health record
• Respond to clinical changes during night shifts, provide appropriate nursing interventions, and escalate as needed
• Assist with activities of daily living and support restorative nursing care as directed
• Ensure infection control practices, safety protocols, and quality standards are consistently followed

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in West Virginia
• Ability to work night shifts (19:00–07:00) and participate in a weekend rotation
• Experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting preferred
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and documentation skills
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities

Pay

Weekly pay ranges from $1,070 to $1,131.
