Responsibilities

  • Deliver coordinated nursing care for adolescent patients in an inpatient behavioral health setting, following established standards of care and the nursing process
  • Assess patients, plan and implement care, and document progress accurately and timely
  • Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with multidisciplinary team members
  • Apply critical thinking and professional judgment to prioritize safety, de-escalation, and patient-focused care
  • Administer medications as prescribed, monitor patient responses, and report changes promptly
  • Respond to emergencies using appropriate protocols and collaborate with other disciplines to optimize patient outcomes

Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse license in California
  • Experience in inpatient behavioral health or a closely related setting is preferred
  • Ability to work evening shifts and participate in a 5-day workweek schedule
  • Demonstrated ability to work with adolescent patients and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
  • Knowledge of nursing standards of practice and safety policies in an inpatient environment

Pay

$2,238 – $2,384 per week

Schedule

Evenings, 5x8 (8-hour shifts)
