Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for adolescent patients in an inpatient behavioral health setting, following established standards of care and the nursing process
- Assess patients, plan and implement care, and document progress accurately and timely
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with multidisciplinary team members
- Apply critical thinking and professional judgment to prioritize safety, de-escalation, and patient-focused care
- Administer medications as prescribed, monitor patient responses, and report changes promptly
- Respond to emergencies using appropriate protocols and collaborate with other disciplines to optimize patient outcomes
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California
- Experience in inpatient behavioral health or a closely related setting is preferred
- Ability to work evening shifts and participate in a 5-day workweek schedule
- Demonstrated ability to work with adolescent patients and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
- Knowledge of nursing standards of practice and safety policies in an inpatient environment

$2,238 – $2,384 per week
