Travel Registered Nurse Adolescent Behavioral Health Inpatient Job

Travel Registered Nurse assignment in an adolescent behavioral health inpatient unit within a hospital setting in Cleveland, Ohio. This 13-week contract begins on 08/03/2026 and is managed by Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical nursing care to adolescent inpatients on a behavioral health unit
• Monitor patient conditions, perform assessments, and administer medications per orders
• Implement and document treatment plans, safety checks, and crisis-prevention interventions
• Apply de-escalation techniques and respond to behavioral health crises as needed
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (psychiatrists, therapists, social workers) for care planning and handoffs
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic health record and ensure smooth transitions of care

Requirements

• Active Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program (RN)
• One year of behavioral health experience preferred
• De-escalation training preferred (e.g., Welle or CPI)
• Ability to work three 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) in an inpatient adolescent behavioral health setting

Pay

Weekly pay ranges from $2,240 to $2,343.

Schedule

Three 12-hour night shifts per week (7:00 PM–7:30 AM). Guaranteed hours are not provided.
