Travel Registered Nurse Adolescent Behavioral Health Inpatient Job

Responsibilities

• Cook up nursing care for adolescent inpatients with behavioral health needs
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders; monitor for adverse effects
• Conduct and document assessments; participate in care planning and discharge teaching
• Provide patient and family education on treatment plans, safety, and coping strategies
• Use the EMR system (Meditech) for orders, documentation, and communication
• Collaborate with the unit team in a 12-bed, team-based model; respond to crises

Requirements

• Hawaii RN license required by start date of assignment
• Minimum 2 years of behavioral health nursing experience
• BLS and crisis prevention training (NCI or equivalent)
• Proficient with EMR, specifically Meditech
• Ability to work 3x12 rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Eligible and ready to work in an adolescent behavioral health inpatient setting; no cross-department floating
