Travel PCU Stepdown RN

Role: Travel Stepdown RN responsible for providing specialized care to patients transitioning from intensive care to general inpatient units. Responsibilities: Monitor cardiac rhythms and vital signs, administer medications, assist with cardiac procedures, ensure patient safety and comfort, observe and document patient responses, respond to emergencies, educate patients on cardiac health, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and adhere to safety and regulatory standards. Qualifications & Skills: One year of recent Stepdown RN experience, valid RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, critical thinking, interpersonal, technical, and physical abilities, including capacity to handle equipment and work under pressure. Additional Requirements: Certifications like PCCN or NIHSS are preferred. Must demonstrate effective communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work with diverse teams in a fast-paced environment.
