Travel PCU Stepdown RN

Role: Travel Stepdown RN responsible for providing specialized care to patients transitioning from intensive care to general inpatient units. Responsibilities: Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data; administer medications and treatments; assist with cardiac procedures; ensure patient safety and comfort; respond to emergencies; document assessments; educate patients on cardiac health; collaborate with healthcare teams; maintain confidentiality and adhere to safety standards. Qualifications & Skills: One year of recent Stepdown RN experience; valid RN license; BLS and ACLS certifications; critical thinking; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; physical ability to perform job duties; proficiency in English and PC skills; ability to handle high-pressure situations. Key Duties: Assess and manage complex patient needs; interpret telemetry data; collaborate with multidisciplinary teams; perform procedures; ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols; support patient education and safety.
