About the role

We are seeking a skilled Stepdown RN to provide specialized care to patients transitioning from intensive care to medical-surgical units. The role involves monitoring cardiac rhythms, administering medications, assisting with procedures, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Interpreting telemetry data
• Responding to cardiac emergencies
• Documenting patient assessments
• Educating patients on cardiac health

Qualifications

• At least one year of recent stepdown experience
• Valid RN license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications

Preferred certifications

• PCCN
• NIHSS
