About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Stepdown RN for a travel assignment in Ypsilanti, Michigan. The role involves providing care to patients transitioning from intensive care, requiring frequent monitoring, medication administration, and collaboration with healthcare teams to ensure patient safety and comfort.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data
- Administering medications and assisting with cardiac procedures
- Observing, documenting patient conditions, and responding to emergencies
- Providing patient education on cardiac health and lifestyle modifications
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and maintaining safety protocols
Requirements
- One year of recent Stepdown RN experience
- Current RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications
- Critical thinking, strong communication, and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to move equipment and assist patients
- Proficiency in reading instructions, documentation, and PC skills
