Travel PCU Stepdown RN

Role: Travel Stepdown RN responsible for providing specialized care to patients transitioning from intensive care to medical-surgical units. Responsibilities: Monitor cardiac rhythms and vital signs, administer medications, assist with cardiac procedures, observe patient conditions, respond to emergencies, document assessments, and collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure safe, patient-centered care. Qualifications & Skills: Requires at least one year of recent Stepdown RN experience, valid RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications; preferred PCCN and NIHSS certifications. Must demonstrate critical thinking, excellent communication, physical stamina, and the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams. Key Duties: Ensure patient safety, maintain confidentiality, follow safety protocols, and perform duties within the scope of practice. Must be able to handle physical demands and work under pressure, providing high-quality telemetry care.
