Travel Med Surg Charge Nurse

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director with daily department operations, staffing, and workflow management
• Supervise, direct, and evaluate team members to ensure optimal performance
• Maintain efficient department operations and uphold patient care standards
• Provide direct patient care within scope of practice
• Monitor and adjust patient care plans as needed
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to promote positive patient outcomes
• Oversee staff performance and unit operations during assigned shifts

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA), maintained current
• At least one year of charge nurse experience in Med Surg setting
