Travel Med Surg Charge Nurse

Position: Travel Med Surg Charge Nurse Department: Med Surg Location: Lewiston, Maine Responsibilities Assist the Director with daily operations, staffing, and workflow management.Supervise, direct, and evaluate team members.Ensure effective use of personnel, equipment, and resources.Maintain efficient department operations and patient care standards.Provide direct patient care within scope of practice.Monitor and adjust patient care plans as needed.Collaborate with physicians and staff to promote positive patient outcomes.Support a safe, high-quality, patient-centered care environment.Oversee staff performance and unit operations during shifts. Qualifications Current and valid state RN License.Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.At least one year of charge nurse experience in Med Surg setting. Skills: Leadership, team supervision, resource management, patient care, collaboration, and compliance with certification requirements.
