Travel Med Surg Charge Nurse

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director with daily department operations, staffing, and workflow management.
• Supervise, direct, and evaluate team members.
• Ensure effective use of personnel, equipment, and resources.
• Maintain efficient department operations and patient care standards.
• Provide direct patient care within scope of practice.
• Monitor and adjust patient care plans as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to promote positive patient outcomes.
• Support a safe, high-quality, patient-centered care environment.
• Oversee staff performance and unit operations during shifts.

Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA), maintained upon hire.
• Minimum of one year of charge nurse experience in Med Surg setting.
