Responsibilities
- Assist the Director with daily department operations, staffing, and workflow management
- Supervise, direct, and evaluate team members
- Ensure effective use of personnel, equipment, and resources
- Maintain efficient department operations and patient care standards
- Provide direct patient care within scope of practice
- Monitor patient care plans and implement necessary adjustments
- Collaborate with physicians and staff to promote positive patient outcomes
- Support a safe, high-quality, patient-centered care environment
- Oversee staff performance and unit operations during shifts
Qualifications
- Current and valid state RN License
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA)
- At least one year of charge nurse experience in Med Surg setting
Pay
Up to $1,451–$1,982 gross weekly; $40.32–$55.06 per hour, with a $3/hour differential
