Travel ED Charge Nurse

Position: Travel ED Charge Nurse Location: Lewiston, Maine Department: Emergency Services Shifts Available: Days and Nights Pay: Up to $1,491–$2,067 gross per week ($41.44–$57.43/hour) Role Overview: Oversee emergency department operations and nursing staff during assigned shifts, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care and regulatory compliance. Manage staffing, scheduling, patient assignments, and supervise staff development. Assist with performance management and HR activities. Monitor supplies, equipment, and unit readiness. Coordinate patient flow, admissions, transfers, and discharges. Address patient care concerns, escalate issues, and support a positive patient and family experience. Provide direct patient care as needed to maintain safe staffing levels. Qualifications Current valid RN licenseCurrent BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (maintain current)Minimum of one year as a staff nurse in an acute care hospital or ED settingPrevious supervisory experience required
