Travel Med Surg Charge Nurse

About the role

Assist the Director with daily department operations, staffing, and workflow management in a Medical-Surgical unit.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, direct, and evaluate team members to ensure effective performance
• Maintain efficient department operations and uphold patient care standards
• Provide direct patient care within scope of practice as needed
• Monitor and adjust patient care plans collaboratively with physicians and staff
• Support a safe, high-quality, patient-centered care environment
• Oversee staff performance and unit operations during assigned shifts

Requirements

• Current and valid state RN License
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA) upon hire and maintained current
• Minimum one year of charge nurse experience in a Med Surg setting
