About the role
We are seeking a compassionate Hospice RN to provide end-of-life care in patients' homes or hospice settings.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments for comfort
- Support and educate families and caregivers
- Monitor patient conditions and adjust interventions accordingly
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members
- Document all care activities accurately and timely
- Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and safety protocols
- Provide emotional and psychological support during end-of-life care
Qualifications
- Recent RN experience with at least six months in hospice care
- Valid RN license per state regulations
- BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
Skills and Abilities
- Critical thinking and excellent interpersonal communication
- Proficiency in English, PC skills, and reading/comprehension of instructions
- Physical ability to assist with patient care and equipment
- Effective teamwork, professionalism, and emotional resilience
- Strong visual and communication skills
