Travel Charge Nurse

Position: Travel OR Charge Nurse Location: Lewiston, Maine Department: OR/Surgery Responsibilities Oversees OR operations and nursing staff during shiftsEnsures safe, high-quality patient care and regulatory complianceManages staffing, scheduling, and daily assignmentsSupervises, coaches, and supports staff development and performanceAssists with performance management and HR activitiesMonitors supplies, equipment, and department readinessCoordinates surgical services, patient flow, and care transitionsAddresses patient care concerns and escalates issues appropriatelyRounds with patients and families to promote positive experiencesProvides direct patient care as needed to maintain standards Qualifications Valid RN licenseCurrent BLS, ACLS, and PALS certificationsMinimum one-year experience as a staff nurse in acute care or EDPrevious supervisory experience in acute care surgical OR setting (1-2 years)Competency in Sedation Monitoring Additional Info: Offers competitive pay up to $2,297/week, with a $3/hour differential, weekly payments, and flexible opportunities.
