Travel Charge Nurse

Position: Travel OR Charge Nurse Location: Lewiston, Maine Department: OR/Surgery Shifts Available: Days and Nights Pay: Up to $41.44–$57.43 per hour, including a $3/hour differential Responsibilities Oversee OR operations and nursing staff during shiftsEnsure safe, high-quality patient care and compliance with regulationsManage staffing, scheduling, and assignmentsSupervise, coach, and support staff developmentAssist with performance management and HR activitiesMonitor supplies, equipment, and department readinessCoordinate surgical services, patient flow, and care transitionsAddress patient care concerns and escalate issues appropriatelyConduct patient and family rounds to enhance patient experienceProvide direct patient care as needed to maintain standards Qualifications Valid RN license and current BLS, ACLS, PALS certificationsMinimum one year as a staff nurse in an acute care or ED settingPrevious supervisory experience (1-2 years) in surgical ORCompetency in Sedation Monitoring Additional Information: Competitive weekly pay, flexible opportunities, dedicated support, and tailored career pathways.
