Travel Charge Nurse

Position: Travel OR Charge Nurse Location: Lewiston, Maine Department: OR/Surgery Responsibilities Oversee OR operations and nursing staff during shiftsEnsure safe, high-quality patient care and compliance with regulationsManage staffing, scheduling, and daily assignmentsSupervise and support staff development and performanceAssist with performance management and HR activitiesMonitor supplies, equipment, and department readinessCoordinate surgical services, patient flow, and care transitionsAddress patient care concerns and escalate issues appropriatelyConduct patient and family rounds to promote positive experiencesProvide direct patient care as needed to maintain standards Qualifications Valid state RN licenseCurrent BLS, ACLS, and PALS certificationsMinimum of one year as a staff nurse in an acute care hospital or ED settingPrevious supervisory experience in an acute care surgical OR settingCompetency in Sedation Monitoring Additional Details Competitive pay with weekly payments and a $3/hour differentialOpportunities for career growth and professional support
