Travel Charge Nurse

Responsibilities

• Supervise OR operations and nursing staff during shifts, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care and compliance with regulations.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and daily assignments; support staff development and performance management.
• Oversee supplies, equipment, and department readiness; coordinate surgical services and patient flow.
• Address patient care concerns, escalate issues appropriately, and support positive patient experiences through rounding and direct care as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license and current BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications.
• Minimum of one year as a staff nurse in an acute care hospital or ED setting.
• Previous supervisory experience, particularly in surgical OR environments.
• Competency in Sedation Monitoring required.
