Travel Account Specialist
About the role
The Travel Account Specialist at Billingsley Travel Agency will take ownership of commercial follow-through within family and group leisure travel, cruises, all-inclusive trips, theme parks, sports travel, weddings, and honeymoons. The position applies travel account specialized execution to ensure accuracy and traceable follow-through, prioritizing reliability over superficial speed.
The role is successful when commercial follow-through becomes more reliable and repeated failure points are surfaced before they affect customers, partners, or teammates. This is measured through travel account specialized execution within family travel operations.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the workflow by helping the team prepare accurate supporting information for quotes.
- Review the workflow by helping the team track follow-up dates and open decisions.
- Maintain the workflow by helping the team keep CRM or account notes current.
- Track the workflow by helping the team handoff confirmed opportunities without losing context.
- Own the workflow by helping the team capture traveler or account requirements clearly.
Skills
- Use Travel Sales and Client Communication confidently in travel account execution.
- Apply Account Support without losing track of exceptions, owners, or deadlines.
- Document decisions clearly so another teammate can follow the reasoning.
- Use sound judgment around Account Coordination, especially when escalation is required instead of assumption.
Role Details
This is a full-time, associate-level position. The role is 100% remote within the United States.
Pay
Base salary: $42,000–$62,000 per year.
