About the Role

Provides comprehensive nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient responses to health conditions, working collaboratively within a healthcare team.

Responsibilities

  • Performs accurate multi-system assessments, identifies deviations, and reassesses patients throughout care.
  • Develops individualized care plans, coordinates with other departments, and prioritizes patient needs.
  • Executes nursing interventions based on protocols, administers medications accurately, and documents care properly.
  • Assesses patient responses, reviews care effectiveness, and participates in quality improvement activities.

Requirements

  • Minimum of nine months RN experience, with one year in emergency care or completion of a related internship.
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • RN license, BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale, and either Pediatric Advanced Life Support or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course.

Skills & Preferences

  • Computer skills and emergency pediatric training.
  • Preferred: healthcare experience, bachelor’s degree, certifications like CEN or TNCC, and ability to interpret cardiac dysrhythmias.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
