About the Role
The Teletherapy Facilitator supports remote therapy sessions by acting as the in-person link between students, clinicians, teachers, and schools.
Responsibilities
- Ensure safe and efficient student transitions to and from teletherapy stations.
- Log students into the platform and prepare therapy equipment.
- Communicate schedule changes and coordinate with educational teams.
- Assist in setting up and staging therapy and assessment materials.
- Observe sessions, support students, and follow clinician instructions.
- Manage technology and equipment for seamless therapy delivery.
- Support communication between clinicians, teachers, and students regarding IEPs.
- Retain test security during assessments and assist with special education evaluations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education/certifications in education or technology preferred.
- Experience in educational support or technology assistance.
- Strong organizational, communication, and technological skills.
- Reliable, punctual, adaptable, and patient demeanor.
- Ability to work effectively with children and professionals.
- Availability to travel between school sites within the district.
