About the Role
The Teletherapy Facilitator is essential in supporting remote therapy and assessment sessions for students, serving as the in-person link between students, clinicians, teachers, and schools.
Responsibilities
- Ensure safe and efficient student transitions to and from teletherapy workstations.
- Log students into the platform and communicate schedule changes impacting attendance.
- Coordinate scheduling and paperwork between clinicians and educational staff.
- Prepare and maintain therapy equipment and technology.
- Observe therapy sessions, assist students as directed, and stage assessment materials with test security in mind.
- Support student engagement and occasionally participate in sessions based on student needs.
- Act as a primary communication point among clinicians, teachers, and students regarding therapy and assessments.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in related fields preferred.
- Experience in educational support, technology assistance, or similar areas.
- Strong organizational, communication, and technology skills.
- Reliable, punctual, adaptable, patient, and capable of working effectively with children and professionals.
- Ability to manage multiple schedules and create conducive environments for therapy and evaluations.
- Willingness to travel between school locations as needed.
