About the Role
The Teletherapy Facilitator supports remote therapy and assessment sessions for students, serving as the essential in-person link between students, clinicians, teachers, and schools.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage therapy technology and equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Assist students with transitions to and from teletherapy sessions, ensuring safety and engagement.
- Log students into therapy platforms and communicate schedule changes to clinicians.
- Observe sessions, provide student support, and assist with staging assessment materials while maintaining test security.
- Act as the primary contact for scheduling, paperwork, and coordination between educators and clinicians.
- Collaborate with clinicians to source and organize hands-on materials for therapy and assessments.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in education or technology are advantageous.
- Experience in educational support or technology assistance.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with educational technology and a reliable, adaptable demeanor.
- Ability to work effectively with children and professionals, managing multiple schedules and environments.
- Willingness to travel between school sites within the district.
