About the Role
The Teletherapy Facilitator acts as the vital in-person link between students, clinicians, teachers, and schools to ensure seamless remote therapy and assessment sessions.
Responsibilities
- Support student transitions to and from teletherapy, ensuring safety and efficiency.
- Log students into the therapy platform and prepare necessary equipment.
- Communicate schedule changes and act as the primary contact for scheduling and paperwork.
- Observe therapy sessions, assist students as directed, and collaborate with clinicians to source and stage materials.
- Manage technology and equipment, ensuring operational readiness.
- Support student needs during sessions and help retain test security for assessments.
- Serve as a communication bridge among clinicians, teachers, and students, supporting IEP goals.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications beneficial.
- Experience in educational support or technology assistance.
- Strong organizational, communication, and technology skills.
- Reliable, punctual, adaptable, and patient with children and professionals.
- Ability to travel between multiple school sites as needed.
