About the Role

The Teletherapy Facilitator is essential for supporting remote therapy and assessment sessions, acting as the in-person liaison among students, clinicians, teachers, and schools. Their primary responsibilities include ensuring smooth student transitions, managing technology and equipment, scheduling, and communication to facilitate seamless therapy experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Assist students with session transitions and support during therapy as directed by clinicians.
  • Prepare and operate necessary technology and equipment for therapy sessions.
  • Coordinate scheduling, communicate schedule changes, and handle paperwork with educational teams.
  • Observe sessions, assist students, and stage assessment materials while maintaining test security.
  • Support collaboration between clinicians, teachers, and students to meet student needs and support IEP goals.

Qualifications & Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in education or technology are advantageous.
  • Experience in educational support or technology assistance.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and technological proficiency.
  • Reliable, punctual, adaptable, and patient with children and professionals.
  • Ability to travel between school locations as needed.
