About the Role
The Teletherapy Facilitator is essential for supporting remote therapy and assessment sessions, acting as the in-person liaison among students, clinicians, teachers, and schools. Their primary responsibilities include ensuring smooth student transitions, managing technology and equipment, scheduling, and communication to facilitate seamless therapy experiences.
Responsibilities
- Assist students with session transitions and support during therapy as directed by clinicians.
- Prepare and operate necessary technology and equipment for therapy sessions.
- Coordinate scheduling, communicate schedule changes, and handle paperwork with educational teams.
- Observe sessions, assist students, and stage assessment materials while maintaining test security.
- Support collaboration between clinicians, teachers, and students to meet student needs and support IEP goals.
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in education or technology are advantageous.
- Experience in educational support or technology assistance.
- Strong organizational, communication, and technological proficiency.
- Reliable, punctual, adaptable, and patient with children and professionals.
- Ability to travel between school locations as needed.
